About IATM
The International Association of Thai Massage (IATM) is an independent, non-governmental professional certification body based in Toronto, Canada.
The association promotes public safety and professional accountability by evaluating practitioners’ education, training, and ethical standards, while supporting consistent professional standards in the holistic and natural therapy fields through structured certification and ongoing professional development.
IATM certification is a professional qualification certification, not a medical license, and does not authorize regulated medical practice. Certified members remain responsible for complying with applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and scope-of-practice requirements.
